The Haunting at Jack the Ripper’s House Review (2025)

The Haunting at Jack the Ripper’s House feels like exactly the kind of reckless internet stunt that would exist in real life.

Hunting Matthew Nichols is a slow, but thoughtful mockumentary that builds tension the right way

    The Mirror (2014) Review

The Mirror is fairly competent, with a slow minimalist build up which does deliver some genuine unease at times

    Apartment 143 (2011) Review

The main goal of found footage movies is to make it seem like the characters are the ones filming the events, often with handheld cameras or other devices.

This style uses shaky camera movement, natural acting, and simple production to make it feel real and is also a good choice for new filmmakers to try something different and get noticed.
